Here at Hope n' Change, we love Christmas Eve. The excitement, the decorations, the expectations, and the knowledge that something magical is about to happen. Oh, sweet suspense!
And that's pretty much how we're feeling today. Filled with the joyful spirit of Election Day, but wishing that it would just get here!
The Republicans and Democrats have already said and done everything they can in order to plead their final cases for having been "naughty or nice," and can now do nothing but wait to see which list they've ended up on.
And while we don't want to be overconfident, we're guessing that tomorrow, the former Illinois senator who was best known for voting "present" won't be getting one.
So let us all give thanks that our founding fathers wrote free elections into law. Because yes, Virginia - that is our sanity clause.
