A new study suggests that the current rate of unemployment may be the "new normal" that will last for many years to come. Unfortunately, the administration is responding with massive taxes and burdens on the business community that discourage job creation (and generally punish employers), while also dismantling free enterprise through control of banks, manufacturers, and soon the health care industry.

Meanwhile, America produces fewer and fewer students who can compete educationally with their overseas counterparts. In Obama's alleged home state of Hawaii, the teachers union has now voted to close schools every Friday as a way to save money...even though the state was already among the nation's worst in educational achievement.

So America...how's that "Hope and Change" thing working out for you?
